Drake is not special or interesting enough to pull off an album in this style. I feel like there were some okay-ish tracks near the end but yeah, it's still mid. I wonder how this would sound if he had more feature guests on it. Like Rihanna, The weeknd or Chris brown.

Drake’s singing has gotten so stale. If your gonna do a dance album, at least make chorus and hooks. Or get pop producers, cuz half the songs sound the same without raps. Massive bumps tho.

Idk how Drake would be alienating his fans with this lol who even are Drake fans? He doesn’t have some kind of hardcore dedicated fan base like Kendrick or Cole etc he sold that out to be a hitmaker a long time ago, at least he is trying something original and interesting this time

I like the house/dance direction this album tried to go for. It just feels unfinished. Drake doesn't really add much to these beats. It easily needed another 6 months of work.

I’ll give Drake credit for trying something different. That really was my primary complaint with CLB, it sounded stale & rehashes of songs he’s already made. This isn’t exactly what I had in mind when I wanted him to do something different lol but I mean….it at least peaked my interest. I don’t know if Drake really works on a lot of these House/Dance inspired tracks but the production is really good.

I’m interested in how this is going to sound because Drake typically likes to take his time with albums. I wonder if the reception of CLB has any reason to do with him putting out another album so fast. CLB is really the only Drake album that came & went for me. His albums are always pretty congested but have great high points—those weren’t there on CLB imo.

This album has heavy replay value. Staying on rotation for sure. This just works for me. I’m all for get it together from More Life vibes all throughout. Sticky & the closer is a nice switch up in the flavour of this project as well.
