Nov 15, 2015 how is that relevant at all? kanye barely wrote all day. it took him over a year to finish the song. do you even know about the countless ghostwriters on yeezus? #selective
Nov 15, 2015 Kanye wrote most of Yeezus. (Even though a lot of the lyrics were laughably bad lol) Stop making s--- up Jetty.
Nov 15, 2015 Does it matter if a producer samples music without knowing how to play an instrument? Kanye uses people's advice to help express something only he has in his mind... he's going back and forth to crystalize his vision and finetune the way he wants to portray it, he's not saying things that are meaningless drivel to hit the charts or get teenagers excited.
Nov 15, 2015 “There were some real questionable bars on there,” Drake says of Kanye‘s Yeezus album. “Like that ‘Swaghili’ line? Come on, man. Fabolous wouldn’t say some s--- like that.” #Throwback
Nov 15, 2015 not that specifically, but i remember a lot of flip flopping n----s from this site. just go 3 pages back in this thread and you'll learn a lot about some of the posters on this site tbh
Nov 15, 2015 wait, let's stay on topic here. nobody's talking about producing. it's pretty well known kanye hasn't been writing too much of his own material lately. does this bother you considering just yesterday you said you couldn't listen to IYRT strictly because of the ghostwriting situation?
Nov 15, 2015 no because, a) he makes better music b) he means what he says c) he isn't trying to take credit for something he can't do
Nov 15, 2015 It's not lately. Kanye didn't write most of Jesus Walks. It's been known for years he has help. But hes an overall artist whereas drake is a rapper/singer.
Nov 15, 2015 I don't disagree with this I have a problem with people that have a problem with drake but praise kanye when he's essentially doing the same thing whether it be to a greater or lesser degree
Nov 15, 2015 how is drake taking credit though? quentin miller is always credited on the tracklist and how can he mean what someone else wrote for him? and your first point is subjective so I'll ignore that
Nov 15, 2015 1) Drake was outraged by allegations he didn't write his own raps as evidenced by the multiple disses and enormous effort he took to convince people he's still the 'number one rapper'. 2) Drake's raps are never clever or interesting enough for me to deem him a solid artist 3) the one's i like the most were (at least) cowritten by Quentin 4) i prefer singing Drake 5) Drake only talks about shallow stuff, like girls, YOLO and being the best. There's no emotional depth to most his songs.. and that's coming from someone who likes Take Care.
Nov 15, 2015 i said 10 bands is a good song. it still is. the tape still isn't, as i said when it dropped. try again.
Nov 15, 2015 how do you feel about kendricks contributions to all day and the fact the song has "15" credited writers lmao
