    DVSN might be my favorite artist out of the whole OVO label, including Drake after he dropped Views

    Roy Wood's project was also pretty great

    Really excited for their future releases

    Plus we're looking at what, 3-4 QM tracks and maybe 1-2 PND ones? Not the end of the world, none of them were top tier Drake anyway.

    You tell me someone ghost wrote Club Paradise or Days in the East, then I got some issues.
    Yeah exactly, something like Legend wouldn't have resonated as much if it came from PND.

    I want to think it might be him alluding towards something like him bouncing ideas with people in the studio but I get his point.

    Some songs are better off being in Drake's hands and being exposed to a much more massive audience, Quetin is a great writer but we never would have enjoyed 10 Bands as much if it came out through him first.

    same, the only difference was i was really invested in the "drake as the best of all time" narrative. he was my favourite, and he was Canadian, and he rapped about situations i related to since we're only 4 years apart. so the whole situation just left a sour taste in my mouth. it's like finding out floyd mayweather was using PEDs.

    but i'm starting to shift to where you're at with him too. kanye will go down as my favourite of all time, but i'm not saying no to any drake tracks until he retires or falls off. good music is still good music, and it's about the product more than the process.

    he's a more than capable artist, that's all i need to know.

    Very well said!

    Initially I was pretty bothered with the ghost-writing situation but as time went on I stopped giving a s--- about that and his "legacy"; a part of me still wants to see Drake still be on top for awhile and the music he made already takes me back to good times. I could care less if he won't make purist's lists, I'll remember him like Jay & Ye and a whole bunch of other of my favorite artists.

    word i can see why he's getting ghost writers to build him some skeletons because his output is ridiculous.

    that's probably my issue with the ghost writing - it's not because he needs help to make a good song, it's because he take's it to maintain his chokehold on the game. so it comes from a business motivation rather than a creative one like kanye.

    kanye used consequence to make jesus walks a better song, and i got no issues with that
    drake used QM to put out another hit to stay hot, that's the difference.
