Jul 18, 2019 I'm genuinely exciting if he can keep this mindset for his solo. When Cole's having fun it's when to me, he's at his best. He gets bogged down trying to come up with a clever concept that usually requires more than one creative mind (which he previously never had in the early Dreamville days). Those concepts never get properly executed and we in the end get messy albums, therefore I hope he keeps it simple and follows this lasseiz faire attitude he did on ROTD3
Jul 18, 2019 There are some g.d. awful sounding rappers on this album. Some good tracks but I was put to sleep by jcole. Works most boring rapper.
Jul 19, 2019 This is exactly my thoughts on Cole. His albums are so bogged down in half-baked concepts they land up being a chore to get through. His feature run over the past 2 years or so has been insane and this is the first time since FNL its actually all come together into project form. Really hoping he can keep up the momentum
