Seems like Master Chief has died and came back like 3 times now or something? idek Nintendo really winning tho. I'd consider getting a switch but I just dont got the time + my ps4 backlog already pretty huge
Jun 12, 2018 Agreed. Exactly why I’m switching back to PlayStation. Used to be a huge gears of war 2 fan and in a clan we even did some game battle matches. Halo was fun but I missed 3s original release so the hype wasn’t as large when I played it. I’ll be buying the ps4 maybe around Christmas they’ll have better deals. Also grabbing the switch eventually. Really wanna play that new Mario game and if smash bros comes out, that will be huge.

Jun 12, 2018 I haven't. Looks super outdated so not sure I'd be able to enjoy it. I'm not that big of a video game player. I haven't felt more connected to a game than I did with TLOU. I played the witcher 3.... uncharted.... far cry... bunch of others.... Just didn't feel the same (however, enjoyed em all). TLOU is actually the game that really got me into games tbh. It just made me realise the potential in them. I had played Call of Duty and stuff before but yeah. It's cool how appreciated games are beginning to become. They're starting to be seen as music or films by the mainstream.... Just another form of art. But why do you ask if I've played Gothic?

Jun 12, 2018 So you agreed this is a movie so we were right about it is s--- when it comes to sheer gameplay. As a movie it would be good, as a game it is mediocre. So you judge games by their score on metacritic ok then lol. It has immersive story, but gameplay is so mediocre it stops you from wanting to play it.
Jun 12, 2018 I don't think the gameplay is mediocre though. I get more substance from the gameplay than any other game I've played (at least tied anyway). That's in part due to the story and character development without a doubt. It influences everything. I think the gameplay is very visceral and the controls feel great/tight too though.
Jun 12, 2018 Relatively. I've played RPG stuff tho. I don't think it makes my opinion less valid. I just enjoy it more than a lot of that stuff. Those things are good in their own right but yeah.
Jun 12, 2018 When I play it I feel so restricted and gameplay has so low variety. I didn't play it till the end, because of gameplay and it is the only one game that I have not finished.
Jun 12, 2018 It has good reviews and when I bought it I had high expectations even though I don't like "zombie apocalypse" type games. After playing it for 12 hours I was left underwhelmed. On the sidenote my friend who was praising it for its story said the same thing about its gameplay when he finally played it on my PS3. Also to further my case about TLOU Heavy Rain has little to no gameplay and I love it. So lowkey I feel it would work better as "Heavy Rain" type game.
