Jun 12, 2018 Haha that’s cool man. Yeah my freshman, sophomore year of high school right after football practice or the weight lifting program after school I’d go straight to my Xbox to play gears with our usual friends until bed. Hours at a time. It was cool we had 2 guys in their late 20s at the time play with us one of my friends randomly met. I actually snapped the game in half twice getting so mad at it and still broke down and bought it a 3rd time. Me and my friends that played still agree no online game will give u the satisfaction of getting a k--- as gears 2. No online game has ever given me that same competitive feeling. Anyone can camp and get good at cod or halo, it took true skill at gears 1-2 online to win or k--- people. I got so d--- good at wall bouncing and on the one clan I played on we were 7-0 at one point on gamebattles. But they’d have actual practice and if I was even 15 mins late the leader would tell me about it and just took the fun out of the game so went back to my normal inner circle group of friends. 3 was too easy imo with the added weapons and the wall ball bouncing basically went away. 4 sort of reminded me of 2 and i could at one point wall bounce decently but we never got our group back together for 4.
Jun 12, 2018 The combat is what im talking about. Combat in lou2 looks far more variable than spidermans. Spiderman is majority contextual animations that you have little input from the player and all you can really do is combos. The ai is also far dumber in spiderman. With the last of us you have complete control over everything except for finishing moves, in spiderman you get a few hits in and then press a button and spiderman does the rest. I mean half the trailer was a constant tug of war between 5 seconds of gameplay and the game playing itself as opposed to the gameplay of tlou2 where the player had some sort of control the entire time. Seriously just compare the new gameplay of spodeyman to the ps2 spiderman 2 and look at the stark difference in player control.
Jun 12, 2018 I haven't been this excited about video game announcements for quite some time. This year's E3 was astonishing. Really hyped about a lot of the stuff.
Jun 12, 2018 Holy h---! Almost seems like a brand new game seems they must have added some parts. I’ll still be pissed if they removed the giant alligator part to be more politically correct not killing an animal. That was a rumour months ago. Imagine an HD nemesis chasing you around the police station. Literally the most excited I’ve been for a game in maybe forever. I was hyped for 7, but it was a little too short and too easy for it taking over 4 years to make. Plush smash bros was announced? Definitely grabbing the switch sometime.
Jun 12, 2018 i dunno how you can say this. it's like, spiderman has this entire airspace you can use and fight in, lou has like a machete finisher, a bow finisher, a gun finisher...
