Do you all just allow it or sort of just ignore him and let him keep doing it because he’s a little bit special? Aug 26, 2025 The writing in places definitely doesn't live up to his own album standards at the time, but in some places it does. I find the song's overall rough draft/demo quality neat though, esp for prime Eminem (the at times seemingly incorrigible perfectionist). Kinda fits with the "I'm just a plain old guy" taunt. Honestly I prefer this style and sound to Business, or even Without Me. He should have kept going with it but I guess he felt it was too similar to MMLP. Yep, he's been doing this with pretty much every old song he's dusted off in recent years: Antichrist, Discombobulated, JBM, and Is This Love all have new vocals added to their original hooks. You might as well throw the Brand New Dance bridge in there too.
