Jan 14, 2022 Love to go see Em perform in a small venue like this. I’ve seen him live 4 times in a stadium which is cool and all but too many fairweather fans like Marsh who are just listening out for the hits and to sing the Love The Way You Lie chorus with their Monster tour merch on, gets tiresome after a while. A small venue with no band, theatrics, minimal backing vocals and not playing a compilation of his biggest hits. Just playing some of his classic and rarer songs from his albums that he never performs would be so good. Plus being in that kind of setting in a small crowd would make it much more engaging and focused to see him perform in a underground setting
Jan 14, 2022 I saw him at the citi sound vault concert at Irving plaza in New York a few years ago. Max capacity was 1k. Got there early enough that we were front row. Got some great pics and videos and he slapped hands with the people in from row 4 or 5 times. My brother almost lost his mind the first time. Was front row for the monster tour at giant stadium but it was nowhere near as cool.
Jan 14, 2022 That bar "like my step father with the belt" sounds s---. Like he has an extra syllable in there and it just doesn't fit. Really noticeable to me. Surprised, I've never heard him do that before. Just sounds so off.

Jan 14, 2022 I'm still excited. Liked his last 3 albums and most of the feats. This one isn't doing it for me yet. But I've only had 2 listens so far. Might grow on me. Right now it's just meh to me. So much wasted potential.
