This album better be worth the wait. This is insane.

Side note, I'm hoping it'll be a surprise release a week or two before the concerts. Makes absolutely no sense to perform a few rare concerts with old material just to turn around and release a new album right afterwards. If you have a new album coming out and you very rarely perform live shows, then you release the new album prior to the concerts so you can perform the new songs. Releasing it afterwards makes no sense to me.

Edit: I guess one scenario where the album comes out post concerts that kind of makes sense would be a situation where Shady Records is heavily marketing the upcoming new album (obviously they are not) getting beyond really hyped up about it. Then they drop a single to further build excitement. Then perform some new songs at the concert, then release the album immediately fatter the concert ends. But they are clearly not doing this. The album must be coming before the shows. It has to be, right? Although, we are talking about Shady Records afterall.

in 2013 we were all saying this exact same thing and then he f----- around and performed in Europe in August with old material and dropped the album in November. However, he did release Survival before the concerts IIRC

Considering the guy's real fans are more into his earlier stuff and his young generation fans are very much into his Recovery stuff,it wasn't too far fetched to think he would be performing all old materials. It hasn't changed. He probably will perform his old songs and if we are lucky he'd have his first single out by then...
