    Maybe he knows the album was bad but still feels more comfortable doing surprise releases since people don't have time to build expectations or get upset.

    Sucks because promo is half the fun.

    I wish he would just drop a freestyle a week or two before release and cover art a few days before if he really doesn’t want to show the track list or drop a single.

    He could literally just give a date and social media would explode. Every hip hop news outlet will be announcing it too. Then when the day comes we’ll still be surprised of the track list/album title. He could even announce the date like Monday/Tuesday before.
