The first Curtain Call counts as one of his consecutive number one albums, so likely CC2 counts as an album that would break the strike if it doesnt hit number one. Side B didnt count cause it was a deluxe. CC2 would count if it’s a standalone album, even it’s a greatest hits

crazy thing is if this drop is indeed a CC2 we might not get a solo album for another year or two.

    Nah, dont think so.
Like i said earlier: You dont have to put much work into it as an artist. The 2, 3 new songs could be something from the vault.

My idea about this is, that he want to end a chapter of his carieer with this one and the next album, which still can come this year is the beginning of Act 3

The act two was like something from his beloved film series Rocky. It was a story of his fall and rise. It was shaky but satisfactory overall to me.

Act 3 began with Kamikaze and modern beats. It’s too early to close it.

He's put out a lot of similar sounding music since Kamikaze though so there's no way it's too early to reinvent. Another album with the same sound, set of topics and delivery and I will permanently lose interest.

I feel like they're chasing the fact that curtain call is doing so well streaming wise....but it's because people actually want to go back and listen to those classics.

No casual listener wants to hear the "hits" of the second half of his career....

The single starting Em's new era after the CC2:

I'll never let you down again, I'm back
I promise to never go back on that promise
In fact, let's be honest, that last SIX CDs was eh
Perhaps I ran them PUNS into the ground
Relax, I ain't goin' back to that now

Jokes aside though, not all six of his CDs were "eh". MMLP2, Recovery, Kamikaze, Side A and B with all flaws considered, are still solid (decent to good) albums without a doubt. It's just Revival was unbelievably trash, the lowest point of his career spanning 20+ years. Nonetheless, 100% agreed with the puns thing. He keeps finding new things to run into the ground. Peculiar flows, subject matter, god-awful puns, fast rapping etc., he really needs to switch it up ASAP
