Jul 7, 2022 Going back to my original point, when the SuperBowl thing happened, JayZ told someone (can't remember who) "the white boy" was the reason 50 Cent got to perform. Eminem is your colleague. He produced beats for you. You've been in songs with him. You both are arguably the biggest icons alive of the genre. Can't you just say "Eminem" or "Marshall". Why "the white boy"?. Snoop has referred to Em as the white boy on a number of times as well, and then, he finally showed his true colors when he said he could live without Em's music and he was white america's hope. When one fellow artist, who you've shared multiple events with doesn't call you by name, it says something to me. Imagine if Em was to say something like "yeah, I'd like a song with Beyonce's husband" instead of saying JayZ, lol.
Jul 7, 2022 That's a valid point but I'd say it's more to do with his obsession of these technical and unorthodox flows that he started doing since Recovery, getting wrong ideas about the favourable response to Forever, which got supremely technical and undeniably impressive during MMLP2 era and ultimately devolved with Revival being horrendous to listen to (Traumatic to be reminded of Chloraseptic and In Your Head). He's redeemed a bit since then: The Ringer's bit after the beat switch was flawless flow-wise and some of his songs on MTBMB were amazing in this regard as well. I think his peculiar flows are just a mis-informed and youtube-reactors-pleasing creative choices tbh.

Jul 7, 2022 THe Eminem show SSLP MTBMBside b Kamikaze Mmlp MtbmB side a Recovery Relapse MMLP2 Encore Revival I appreciate relapse just as I have grown this is my most accurate list to be honest to how I feel about Eminem albums. Music to be murdered by side b could be number 1 if I’m being honest but nothing really tops Eminem show for me or SSLP. This is without infinite and re up. This is personal opinion/ how much I listen to the album. MMLP has aged differently for me than most I imagine is why it’s where it is on my list. I like how MTbMB side b minus the intro is a really breakthrough album with refreshing production and amazing hooks honestly. That’s my list.
