I imagine that up until Relapse, Dre probably would stop him and make him change something in terms of melodies or tone, or re-record something. Do you think that still happens?. I don't think so. I think he records by himself at his own studio and he decides when the track is finished. Maybe he asks for other people's opinions afterwards about the song overall, but only once the track is completed. Like Royce, Denaun maybe even Dre.
Jun 27, 2022 The modern way is rappers sending thier verses via email to producers. Many still collab in studios together, but it isn’t as common as many people think. Side B was definitely made like that. Side A is a different story, and probably why it sounds more cohesive

Jun 27, 2022 You could tell that Eminem and Snoop Dogg were in the studio together the whole time recording and creating From The D 2 The LBC, the song is well structured and sounds more cohesive than if they were to just collab by sending verses and beats over emails

Jun 28, 2022 I also just realized that on the track a------, Em's first few bars are entirely in sync with the drums in the back. Maintaining a unique flow like that while actually saying something must be hard to do. MMLP2 is legit underrated.

Jun 28, 2022 d--- really? Could you elaborate? I just feel that the success Kanye had with Pusha on Daytona and It's Almost Dry is really something. Also, someone like Kanye has an ear for what sounds good and could actually tell Em as it is. The problem however is that both Em and Kanye have massive egos, which would make it hard for them to work together on an entire project.
