    As far as I know he was very much involved in 50's Get Rich Or Die Trying too (as well as Dre), and look how that turned out. So I don't think Em's 100% to blame for Slaughterhouse.

    Also, I think he did a great job helping them and promoting them back then. Far better than he's done since. Which is intentional, I guess. He doesn't want to get too involved so that if another artist/group fail, they can't blame it on him.

    I was just thinking -and you can call me names if you want, cuz this might just be the stupidest idea ever- how many fans do you think Em has around the world?.

    What do you think would happen if he announced an album, with a release date, a single, a video... something that sounds amazing, like it could be his next classic but, here's the catch, he decided that it will only be available through physical copies (actual CDs) like 3 months before it's available on streaming platforms. Do you think people would go out and buy it (or purchase it online and have it delivered) and do good numbers? Or do you think this idea would flop?.

    Just curious.

    If you remember Em's beef with Tee Grizzley, Royce mentioned that Em didn't want to collab with Tee initially and put it off because he didn't want to "feel responsible for him blowing up" or something along those lines.

    So I think it's rather the opposite tho, where Em wants Shady Records artists to blow up on their own in a more natural way than purely surviving off a Shady cosign?

    @Chuny I’m someone that prefers physical copies over streaming versions, so count me in on that.

    I'm just wondering because... we're all saying the business is saturated and streaming is all that matters.
    But I think that if the Eminems, the Adeles, the Michael Jacksons (or Michael's Estate, in this case) decided to pull that kind of move... CDs can still sell and do mad numbers.
    Of course you can always download the g.d. album before it's uploaded to Streaming Platforms, and still not buy the CD. But these icons have very loyal fanbases who will want to hear the album as soon as it's out there, and support their idols.

    Oh i dont disagree shady mismanages artists and has forever but dont act like you talk about numbers only in relation to Shady artists. You’re whole gimmick for the last while has been being obsessed with sales and streaming numbers

    The fact that we talk about whether an artist will sell over 300k from streams and physical copies first week should say EVERYTHING when we used to debate whether someone would sell a first week in purely physical copies

    Lmao I don't like SR artists after Yela and SH. That's why I don't care if they flop, I don't like their style I don't even like Boogie's voice in interviews.

    Yela's Love Story was dope, and he even had a hit lol a hit that was used to promote one of the biggest selling videogames. The next album wasn't and he was dropped. Paul using his album to promote Em's was also a mess.

    Shady has been doing things so wrong it's just funny. They dropped a Grip album without people even knowing who he was lol of course dude was going to flop so hard. They should close that mess or find someone people might care about.

    Billboard changed their rules when Travis was doing all types of bundles and Nicki and 6ix9ine called him out.

    Wonder how well will Em do with this new rules. With an actual album, not a sideproject or CC2.

    Cause Shady 2.0 was kinda ok, even with the whole SH mess. But Shady 3.0? I don't give a s--- about them tbh :kanye3:

    Miss D12, Obie and even Cashis, I bought his EP and thought it was nice. Didn't expect them to get rid of him like that :kanye:

    Did people care about their album on Shady? I feel like I only remember their solos. I don't like their music though, so it's not like I followed them a lot.

    All I remember is Conway acting stupid in interviews and them dying to leave Shady.
