    In doors for a basketball game is different, heck a lot of people are wearing hats with the teams logo on them and stuff

    But in general like public places like schools you are supposed to take your hat off

    Wait a min. I mean of course u can't get into class with ur hat here neither but it's just in high school. In university, nobody would bother u at all. Is it this type of s--- or is it more general ?

    Well there's no way you can wear a hat at college/university from my experience

    Public buildings, church, all sorts of stuff like that it's considered disrespectful
