Jan 6, 2018 Eminem can actually make great beats. He should do maybe 1 or 2 of his own, 1 from Porter...but the rest are all beats from Dre, and beats from Bass Brothers to make a complete great beats album....add in a couple samples. He should also stop with a lot of pop singer guest appearances and stick to rapping, with maybe 1 or 2 samples...and have them be hard rock samples at that (ex. Sing for the Moment)... He should have 3 or 4 guest apperances on the album, and have them be rappers. At most 1 guest pop singer MOST IMPORTANTLY - go back to his old flow. I honestly think the way he raps now is actually MORE DIFFICULT to do then his flow back then. He should Just chill and flow... I understand this video tremendously about his battle of can't be the old Em, people complain if he raps that way because of his age, etc. I don't think people do want to hear him bashing pop acts and killing his family etc like the masterpiece that is MMLP. But EMINEM SHOW and 8 Mile - BASICALLY 2002 was his ultimate reign on top worldwide. And he did it without killing his family or being psychotic. He did it with mature content over family and social issues while not screaming or compacting too many syllables but just flowing smooth ...He can do that again, and I hope he does on what is possible to be his last album. He followed up MMLP with a second, and had his three peat of Relapse, Recovery, and Revival. How about a follow up to Eminem Show following that pattern I mentioned above and doing those things. Call it "The Finale" or "Final Show"/"Final Bow"...I don't care the name but follow what I said above and you got a masterpiece.
Jan 6, 2018 Production by himself, dre and bass brothers. Layer his vocals. No more stop start flow. Calm down and rap normally. Make a conceptual album and stick to the subject matter all the way through. No more pop features. Label mates only
Jan 6, 2018 That interview cements my gripe with em. The em that is hands down GOAT (99-03) didn't f---ing care what people thought...he had a vision, a voice, and knew what he wanted to say. His lack of self confidence over the years has stunted his own growth more times than I care to count. You can't evolve and grow if you are scared to move past poop jokes bruh.
Jan 7, 2018 But what you have to understand is Eminem is a multi millionaire many times over. Before, he was relatable because he was still growing up and figuring things out. Now that he's grown up and has grown up daughters, how is he supposed to rap about his struggles when his struggles are mostly just not pleasing his fans? What life story does he really have to tell at this point? If I as Eminem, I wouldn't have any idea what to rap about.
Jan 7, 2018 I wished I could ring at his door and tell him exatly what he should do for his next album. He clearly lacks vision & confidence, something 2000 Eminem would laugh at tbh.
Jan 7, 2018 Ironically this is actually his problem. He needs to make what he feels, end of. By trying to cater to fans, it’s not authentic at all and is probably the reason his music isn’t received like it used to be.
Jan 7, 2018 Sorry but this interview proves Em needs to retire!Guy has become a pathetic joke! Could u imagine 2000 Em asking his fans what MMLP should sound like?LMFAO! MMLP and TES were so amazing as he did not give a f---, rapped about things that millions could relate to and had awesome beats on so many tracks that he actually put 110 percent effort on to to make sure each record was pure fire. Today as so many have said is he just raps for the sake of it that makes no sense made worse by dog s--- beats! By asking his fans and haters what they want to hear from him proves how lost and clueless he really is on today's music industry. He should know from the epic flop of Revival what his fans don't f---ing want! They don't want 8 pop features to try and sell records, they don't want u to diss the president to try and stay relevant! They want great beats with awesome flow, rhymes that actually make sense, stop using so many pop features, have more rap features and stop with the choppy flow shouting s--- at the end of every f---ing verse! Look if Revival was 10 tracks,no Trump diss, no 8 pop features, no WOW and Untouchable.First single was River with a video and then Castle with a video it would have easily done 800k first week. Those first 2 singles and the Trump diss basically killed the entire hype for the album. I'm still in shock over this video as it proves Em is now a weak p----! As long as he keeps Paul and using Rick Rubin he will continue to produce dog s--- music!
Jan 7, 2018 Have you heard the original? Its a (soft) Rock song. Its not pure rock and roll like Remind Me, but its still rock. I thought the first have of untouchable was dope as well and In Your Head is sick.
Jan 7, 2018 meh same bs conversations now for 3 straight albums. He's done making albums. Deaf as s--- and can throw together a few gems surrounded by the same recycled turds. Don't care how good his writing is anymore when I can't even sit through a song. Should just do lost tapes or freestyle/rap over songs that are popping.
Jan 7, 2018 That verse in Beliveve about “running in place.. while the s--- dangles in front his face” >>>>>>>>>>> Dopest verse flow delivery since I don’t know when... That verse explains it all Coo de gra
