Aug 28, 2021 Kanye relevant again thanks to this rollout. Imagine if Em did something this wild for promo. But only Kanye can do something like this.
Aug 28, 2021 Read a little bit of the op Eminem admitted failure in a huge way with walk on water but let's just act like that doesn't exist lol
Aug 28, 2021 Yeah, the original post is basically based on lies. Btw, MMLP2 was his most critically acclaimed album since TES, including Rap God - being a extremely dense song relying on technicality with no pop gimmicks - becoming a huge hit. How could he have called it an L? Stop mistaking your opinions for facts.
Aug 28, 2021 He literally made a song called lose yourself so this thread is BS Close this thread please
Aug 30, 2021 He didn't lose the beef and that's a fact. MGK is dead lol, nobody cares enough to search it on google and see if he is dead or not or anything else. Revival didn't go viral is his lyric so he actually accepted that don't know where the f--- do you live ? Probably under a rock. Kamikaze is a great album, every fan would easily agree to this. Is it a classic ? Well, no album released in 2018 is a classic anyway, who can say if it is or not. The album is full of hits and yes, when all the songs have over 100 million streams you can say they are very popular. MTBMB is considered the best he ever been since TES by many even though it's very popular to jump on the bandvagon and hate him since 2012 lol. Nobody cares about any label today so why would they care about Shady Records lol. You don't even know what the f--- are you talking about. You say he has to admit his mistakes and you write Revival didn't go viral by quoting his lyrics. What an idiot. I can respect opinions but this so dumb that shouldn't be viewed here by anybody to steal anybody's precious time.
Aug 30, 2021 MTBMB is almost Platinum and Donda just broke streaming records yesterday. And Nas has been better than Hov in the last 2 years.
Aug 30, 2021 This whole post reads "They see me trollin, they hatin." -MGK lost so bad that he had to switch to another genre and focus on his acting career to stay relevant. Nobody's checking for MGK in rap anymore. Nobody. -Revival apparently had a buzz overseas according to some members here but it did basically brick in America. But every rapper drops a dud at some point. -Kamikaze doesn't need to be a classic. It's still a dope album. -So so false. Side B in particular is very certified. Nothing mediocre whatsovever about the album, although the impact wasn't that strong due to the surprise rollout. -MMLP2 >>>> Recovery in terms of quality. It obviously doesn't match MMLP at all but it was an above average late career project. -Eminem is part of Shady Records and people care about him. There's only so much reach that Yelawolf, Slaughterhouse, Boogie, and Grip can have. Em's cosign definitely gave Griselda some spotlight for sure. -Saying Recovery is a W is like saying Blueprint 3, Carter 4, Views, and Paper Trail are W's. It was a W in terms of pop songs, sales, and marketing but was a letdown quality wise. -Em's music in the last 3 years >>>>> his music from 2010-2017. Shady IV is his worst project. Em has definitely bounced back in recent years big time.
Aug 30, 2021 I dont mean commercially. Em and Kanye sell good because they have a huge fanbase. But their last albums were not good enough. Only nerds and dustheads listen to nas and jay s----s on nas discography
Aug 30, 2021 Em takes L's pretty well if I'm honest. He's acknowledged that Revival was a dud numerous times, made some funny lines out of it, and more importantly he veered out of that lane and back toward listenable music. He took all the s--- and channeled it into his most hungry performance in years.
Aug 30, 2021 In doesn’t help that his insane Eastern European fan base is in his ear telling him every move he makes is correct
