yeah he did haha some people dont care abotu critical reception. like im sure thug is happy he has nerdy kids from noisy telling him he's the 2nd coming, but he seems to make music because thats literally his way of life. every second of every day

young thug is simple as f--- name thats great at trolling people -- which is like 95% of thug's self-marketing lol. trolling.

so i guess he didnt think ahead in that critics or new "fans" would be put off by such a "generic" name, but in the end it only makes it more important to not judge a book by its cover

as far my opinion on who're the best (nothing to do with sales), no order cept tier (and each tier probably has more members)

tier 1 - Future, Young Thug, billy woods, kanye west, freddie gibbs

tier 2 - kendrick lamar, vince staples, danny brown, earl sweatshirt, open mike eagle

tier 3 - drake, asap rocky, lil wayne, rich homie quan, action bronson

etc.

Em shouldnt even be on anyones radar ffs.
