good taste though. but actually i found some coincidences in Em's and Tyler's lyrics.
Tyler the Creator in Martians Vs Goblins : Bag full of drag and a Nicki Minaj mixtape dragging all you f--s to the back of the log cabin
Em in Psychopath Killer : Dammit, the Pope's mad again... in my dad's drag draggin' a fa---- in a Glad bag

We haven't had a legit diss track in over 6 years.

People have recently insulted/dissed Eminem (Young Zee, Azz iz, Iggy, J. Cole, Azealia, Esham, ect.) & they think Em will not respond (plus they don't think he has it in him anymore).

Eminem banks on dissing people that he can lyrically beat, he has a plethora of them now.

Most of detroits local rappers are pretty s--- though outside of a couple and those couple have created a buzz for themselves (Elzhi/Danny Brown). Esham is really no different than any of the other underground rappers who've taken shots at Em for publicity. I mean this dude has been taking shots at Eminem dating back to the late 90's stemming from his feud with ICP who have even stated, they don't have a problem with Em anymore lol. What does that tell you? He's just looking for a quick 15 seconds of fame.

    False.

Esham wasn't taking shots at Em in the 90s, he even said it was cool that Em shouted him out on SSLP. His problem started when Em said "I don't Acid Rap, but I rap on acid, got a new blow up doll and just had a strap on added". Esham has always claimed his style as Acid Rap (The only rapper to claim such sub genre). Em said that around the same time Esham signed with Psychopathic, so how exactly is that not a diss? He's already had his 15 seconds of fame back when he was touring all over the U.S., and releasing albums considered Detroit classics (Dead Flowerz, Kkkill the Fetus, Boomin Words From h---). Also, is he has been talking s--- in Em for so long, and whether people want to admit it or not, he IS a local hip hop legend, then why wouldn't Em respond? He responded to Ja Rule for saying s--- about Haleigh, he wrote multiple replies to Benzino, but somehow responding to someone who's respected in his own city calling him out, and talking about his daughter being dead isn't worth his time?

Esham is not a legend in Detroit. The hood never f----- with his music for the most part. All his fans were white suburban kids.

If I remember correctly those bars were in response to an interview Esham did where he basically stated Em stole his style and basically was bitching about how MTV will put Em up but won't put him up despite them rapping alike etc. hence why Em said "I don't acid rap but I rap on acid" basically saying that he didn't steal his style but are similar. Then, some time later that's when the altercation with D12 happened and he got hospitalized which resulted in him taking shots at Hailey which is kinda stupid considering Em wasn't even there when he got jumped, he just insinuated that he was behind it. And here we are, 15 years later and this guys is still salty af trying to get a response out of Em. It's still pretty sad no matter which way you tell the story, it's like getting beat up in highschool and at your highschool reunion still hating the kid that beat you up lol get over it.

At least with Benzino and Ja Rule, they were known figures in hip hop, Benzino being co owner of the source, Ja Rule being huge in the early 2000's so what they stated actually held some weight. Eminem dissing Esham would only benefit him by putting him on the spotlight and giving him free publicity. Em did the same exact thing when he had that little beef with Cage which stemmed over the same exact thing. He poked fun at him in a couple tracks while Cage made multiple full length diss tracks torwards him but he didn't pay him much mind.

Not quite. D12 jumped Esham after Tongues (The album that Esham mentioned Haleigh on) was released. And how exactly is responding to the co-owner of a magazine more credible than responding to a local legend (Yes, legend) from your own city? As far as Cage, my understanding was that Eminem was sick of people comparing the two, and accusing him of stealing Cage's style so he started throwing out little lines here and there, and that's what lead to it growing. Depends on which story you believe holds more weight in that case.

That couldn't be farther from the truth. Only album people in Detroit f----- with was dead flowers. He couldn't sell out a show in Detroit. So how is he a legend in the city?

Boomin Words sold over 100,000 with no major distribution backing, he was selling out shows easily in the 90s. He doesn't now, I'll give you that, but his first album was released nearly 30 years ago. He was drawing crowds when he was playing at St. Andrew's and smaller venues like that. Of course he'd never sell out Ford Field, but you're trying to completely discredit him for how he's viewed by the younger generation of today who missed his peak, rather than the Detroit hip hop pioneer that he is, and his status among local artists. Kid Rock, Eminem, Royce, Proof, Bizarre, ICP, Twizted, etc. have all credited him as a major influence. But he's viewed as a joke, right?

The Source was HUGE throughout the 90's/early 2000's. I can't think of a more respected hip hop outlet than The Source was during that time period so yeah, it was a pretty big deal for the co-owner of probably the most respected hip hop magazine and outlet at that time to talk s--- about you. To say the least, it was definitely a bigger deal than a local artist talking s--- about you because he thinks you stole his style or whatever. Regardless of how highly he was regarded in that local area. Obviously Esham's dislike for Em didn't impact anything, he's still loved greatly, especially in Detroit.
