Aug 1, 2022 I'm part of the Relapse cult followers... and d--- proud of it. I do admit that the album felt more like it was formulated and somehow "forced" (very Slim Shady-ish, singles like We Made You being the sequel to My Name Is, The Real Slim Shady, Purple Pills, Without Me, My Band, Just Lose It...) and it basically lacked true passion as the storytelling was just "let's go back to the first 2 LPs and have Dre on the beat while I write about h----------s, drugs and r---" but I also can't deny the fact that it was still an awesome piece of work!!!! (I'm including the iTunes Deluxe Edition bonus tracks AND the Relapse: Refill EP tracks into my opinion of Relapse). I certainly do understand that it wasn't what people really wanted from him back in the day and why Relapse was not Em's "real" comeback album... So whenever there's a leftover from the Relapse, Relapse: Refill or even pre-Recovery era (early 2010 like the "Cocaine" demo etc...) era, I'm ALL FOR IT !!!!

Aug 1, 2022 Honestly, I liked it for like three days, but I think I was just excited to have a new Eminem album at the time with so many Dre beats. I try to give it another try every few years, but I find so much of it so juvenile and embarrassing.
Aug 1, 2022 It's okay. The weird accents and repetitive subject matter bring it down for me. Probably his best album from a flow standpoint. He flowed effortlessly on that album.
