Dec 17, 2020 I love ya bud but it's frustrating to talk to you about stuff on the forum sometimes because it feels like you're fixating on winning the argument based on logical minutiae rather than having a good faith discussion (I know you need to keep that best debater trophy so I understand....winky face!!!). I know it's a text-based conversation so we all end up either misrepresenting our arguments or misinterpreting others' sometimes, and I apologize if that was the case from me, but I just want you to level with me here. I don't understand where this is coming from because you've defended JMG as satire/performance art many times before...which I know is different than posting #StopTheCount or whatever but at the end of the day the line between fact and fiction is so blurred on the internet (in large part thanks to Trump himself) that role playing a Trump supporter as a joke is virtually can have virtually the same effect in amplifying Trump and his """message.""" So to me it doesn't feel worse than anything JMG has ever done—and obvs both things can be bad, but if we wanna set a precedent here we gotta set it for everyone. I was pissed when I first saw those tweets for the very same reasons you listed. I'm 100% with you on that. My defense of joey is not of his actions in that instance but in that he should continue to remain a member here because I don't believe in permabanning members aside from rare cases like spacemonkey, GRS, or zeb. Like obviously joey's never going to be trusted with anything like that again and shouldn't have been in the first place. I agree with you that as a staff we should be better about aligning on decisions like that before publicly chastising someone. It's easy to get heated in the moment and give someone a lengthy ban or accuse the wrong person—which is part of the reason I almost always end up reducing people's initial ban lengths (including people I initially banned myself). Only one i haven't recently is gustavo who @rapmusik rightfully banned for a long time for posting gore (like someone's face being burnt off with acid by a cartel or some s---. f--- that). Anyway sorry if things got heated, I got a bunch of accusatory notifications at once and was confused about what's happening and it irritated me. I mean this 100% genuinely and not snarkily in any way when I ask this, but what's the end goal here? What would you like to see done? Not specifically about joey or jmg even just in general?

Dec 17, 2020 Honestly if it's supposed to be surprise it's a little weird The producers are teasing it if it was promo why wouldn't shady just tease it on ems account as well? I don't wanna get my hopes up. Possibly a new album is comimg and producers have also gotten caught up with the rumors sometimes they don't even know if they made the album until it comes out. I'll be pissed though because this is looking good. Guess we shall see
