Dec 18, 2020 Agree with you bro ‘Better try to stay wide awake girl you might end up found dead by the lake, soon as you lay me down the sleep, it’s your soul imma try to take’ Yo how he rhymes all of that with better try to stay wide awake is just unreal
Dec 18, 2020 As the user just stated above Em was always best when story telling, not the trash rhyming words for the sake of it!
Dec 18, 2020 He's talking about the mixing dog I don't necessarily agree with him fully but get yo facts straight lol
Dec 18, 2020 man I loved it when it came out, I was a freshman in high school, but as I revisited it over the years it became more and more stale. I’m not a big fan of the rambly drug out (no pun intended) flow he used for the entire album. like toy soldiers Yellow brick road Spend some time Mockingbird Are all pretty dope. then I have a couple guilty pleasures but the rest .... idk man
Dec 18, 2020 The loser trolls can come out the woodwork but it don't change that m2bmb delivered big time. Kam too.
Dec 18, 2020 I see some ppl I haven't seen in this thread before. I enjoyed listening to this album more than I have listening to an Eminem album in awhile. Hope you guys enjoyed it too
Dec 18, 2020 More bs that makes no sense that you use to cover your a---. He tells a story on never love again. He tells a story on stepdad. He tells a story on leaving heaven. That's 3 I can think of right off the top of my head- this has nothing to do with stories
Dec 18, 2020 Stan and Lose Yourself were story telling you clueless dumb f---!Lol As was 8 Mile Road and Rabbit Run!
Dec 18, 2020 IDGAF if he is talking about sucking your d-ck what I say stands. I produce music so I think I know my s---.
Dec 18, 2020 Once he trashes a rapper, he keeps kicking them once in a while, he mentions Ja Rule also, Soooo
Dec 18, 2020 here is why I no longer really like Eminem's music. This new album is not bad at all but not really for me. I became Eminem fan mainly for his storytelling & how I could relate too him. I remember when I was 8 watching the My Name is video. I thought Eminem was a lunatic & funny but didnt look for anymore of his music. Wasnt until he released Cleanin out My Closet as a single & then Lose Yourself that I became a fan & went back & listened to his other albums. Also why i rate Recovery better than most despite the generic production. I would love an introspective album from Eminem before he retires because his flow & rhyming is the best it has been in a long time. Also the popularity he still has at near 50 is insane. We have never seen a rapper stay so relevant in the mainstreamm for so long just show you the impact he had in his prime.
