Oct 20, 2020 Definitely wouldnt call that monotone. Whole second verse is layered, first and 3rd have several voice inflections and impressions. Talks about the time he was really diving deep into hip hop and how rejected he was by people in the city, getting beat up for being in certain sections. Wanting to wear s--- his favorite rappers were and getting f----- with by ppl for not knowing what hes wearing. Loving how dope X clans album was but hating that it came off as racist to him. And how all the angst caused him to use a Slur in a song about the black girl. Wouldnt really call it rambling. I think he really set up the time frame and his life at that time
Oct 20, 2020 It was the perfect response to the discourse that was initiated by the tape Benzino leaked taking the whole light off of the beef to address it. It’s a great song as well. Never heard of disdain towards that track.
