Dec 23, 2020 Yeah, this Eminem would wash old Eminem back in 99, bar on bar on bar on this album - back then? Funny lines and really dope flow, but flow isn't everything. But it's just my opinion. I really think this album is way better than SSLP and believe me, I'm a #1 dustead and I usualy put older rap > new rap.
Dec 23, 2020 I just don't see the hype. There are plenty tracks here I will never go back to yet people insist this album is his best post-hiatus. I'm curious what bars have stood out for you guys? The flows certainly aren't impressive, and too many beat switches imo.

Dec 23, 2020 Give it time broski, you'll see what I mean when I talk about it being better than SSLP. Open Genius, bump it with lyrics, see what he said, listen what he said. This album will grow in you, I can bet that. It's really great album

Dec 23, 2020 I listened to every track, where are you getting this from? So you're telling me you're gonna go back and listen to "Black Magic" or "Guns Blazing"? I doubt it. Rapping fast and riding the beat is not impressive. But I guess you guys are easily impressed.

Dec 23, 2020 You’re obviously the cleverest music “connoisseur” going, so I definitely hold your (wrong) opinion extremely highly! Can I just ask of you to point me in the right direction as to what is “impressive” ... a top three list will do, starting from 1 to 3 if you can fathom that method.
Dec 23, 2020 Of course I wasn't talking about everyone, but I was mostly referring to the average listener which are a lot of them. They can't fathom the complexity of Em lyrics, technicality etc, so they think he's trash. Again, I'm certain a lot of these type of folks are out there.
Dec 23, 2020 A lot of songs from Side A or B or even Kamikaze at this point is miles ahead of Revival, MMLP2, Recovery, Relapse & Encore at this rate.
