Oct 20, 2020 Anybody got a link to The Game song? Also, Lock It Up p-----s me off. Out of this world beat and hook and two decent all around verses. It really needed a great third verse. It's a good song but it's too short and feels unfinished.
Oct 20, 2020 Lock it Up should’ve been promoted like Godzilla. I agree about it missing a 3rd verse, just falls short.
Oct 20, 2020 Lock It Up is an incredible song. But no 3rd verse is strange. h--- he could've at least had someone else lay a 3rd verse for it of he didnt want too. Song is just not long enough. Song could've been a massive hit, IMO.
Oct 20, 2020 Don’t think I’ve ever heard a mix as clean as Lock it Up on an Eminem song in a long time.
Oct 20, 2020 The problem with MTBMB is that it really has no highs. I actually think the album is pretty good, and the only song I think is terrible is Stepdad, but there's just not a single song I couldn't live without in Eminem's discography. Lock It Up comes the closest but it's just missing something. Maybe a bridge...and I think the idea behind and execution of Darkness is amazing but it just came out boring to me. The album is just full of 7/10's.
Oct 20, 2020 Who Knew and Criminal are fun. Those two songs are s---. It's okay I still like you Spatula. Give me Leaving Heaven and Farewell over those two tracks. Alex Da Kid is so overhated when it comes to Eminem. They make good songs at a higher rate they do poor ones. And sonically Farewell is the Eminem I love. His flow is perfect and the sing songy rapping is vintage Eminem. Content is terrible though
Oct 20, 2020 Alex Da Kid hasn’t produced any Em songs since Revival. Also, they make terrible songs together? Leaving Heaven was Em & Skylar, Farewell was Ricky Racks & Em
Oct 20, 2020 lol @2:53 This guy talked about the rumous and quoted someone saying there are leakers on S80
Oct 20, 2020 I liked your post because you said you like me. Who could resist liking being liked? But Leaving Heaven is sort of lukewarm. The best part of the song is the outro. I agree Farewell is sonically great, but verse 2 and 3 seem to go on forever and I can't wait for the chorus again. But Marsh and Little Engine are fun in the way Rainman is fun, only better written.
Oct 20, 2020 The flow at the start of the 3rd verse of "Farewell" is one of the highlights of the album for me. This relationship is all that it's cracked up to be Never lack lust in that cuz we act nuts Cuz that's what attracts us, Trick you with a back rub Tell you to relax then dump your a--- in the bathtub
Oct 20, 2020 Don't forget the first verse "still in love with a mo'afuckin' chick there's 'least a million of" I also really love how the 3rd verse ends with that My Darling voice "addiction is a disease" and a slight pause before the chorus kicks in and it just pleases one's ears. So it's not that the fans don't like pointless love songs, they just have to be done in this way
Oct 20, 2020 I guess I just assumed Skylar Grey on a song is an automatic Alex Da Kid song lol. I like Leaving Heaven though. Last verse and outdo are great. As far as Alex Da Kid goes I loved Airplanes and INAD were incredible. I guess everything else he has done with Eminem is kind of s---. The Castle Walls song he did for T.I. was great, too.
