Dec 26, 2020 This is spot on pretty much. His voice isn’t as pleasing as it once was, sure these new songs are good, but I feel that if he used the older voice like he did on “I will” these songs would hit harder sonically speaking. I still like the album a lot btw.
Dec 26, 2020 I Will voice is perfect. It's also more mature than this. That's my fav hook off Side A. Gives me TES vibes.
Dec 26, 2020 Deluxe did 85/90k. He battles with McCartney 90/95k for number 2. Taylor number 1 with 155/160k
Dec 26, 2020 It can be a mix of both but i'd say the vocals a bit more. The flow can be questionable during certain moments but for the most part it's been on point. Don't get me wrong, it's a really good album. And for me it's easily his best project since Recovery. The problem I have with his vocals is not always as prominent on every song but it's still there. There's definitely a handful of songs that I will go back to in the future which is more than anything since Recovery. So there's that. It's honestly the closest he's been to greatness again. That's why it's frustrating to have something like the vocals/delivery at times k--- it for me. Just a bit of improvement in that department and his next album could be really amazing tbh.
Dec 26, 2020 Yup, you summed it up. A lot of people don't seem to like "She Loves Me" but that's really close to what I would like to hear from Em in terms of vocals. Compare that to his monotone vocals on Gnat and you can easily see the difference in what I mean.
Dec 26, 2020 His voice is the main problem with his recent albums. He has released only a few tracks over the past 2 years with good vocals. The second problem is his lyrics. He literally no longer knows what to write songs about, this is a new writers block. He wrote out. The third problem - he chooses the wrong 1 single for each of the three albums (Walk On Water = flop, Fall = flop, Darkness = flop, GNAT = flop)
Dec 26, 2020 https://eminem.news/we-did-it.html According to Eminem Pro, he already took the 2nd place but not sure how did they get that info...
Dec 26, 2020 Saturday, December 26, 2020 CHART STORY: MERRY SWIFTMAS While we don't have a full chart today, 12/26 (to allow our chart elves to recover from their holiday hangover), Santa was able to deliver the Top 3 of the HITS Top 50. Republic's Taylor Swift repeats at #1—earning her 10th week atop the chart—as evermore logs 155-160k in its second week, a 52% drop. Paul McCartney bows at #2 with McCartney III (Capitol) earning 90-95k. Eminem's deluxe Music to be Murdered By: Side B (Shady/Aftermath/Interscope) vaults back onto the chart at #3 with 85-90k, an increase of more than 1000%. Now excuse us while we listen to Whole Lotta Red and smoke whole lotta green. https://hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=324601&title=CHART-STORY%3A-MERRY-SWIFTMAS
Dec 26, 2020 Find me one song of EMs from 1997 to 2009 where the flow is unlistenable or bad Man I don’t know what happened after 2009 but the man changed it got worst slowly 2011 to 2017 with the choppy flow is the worst Eminem we ever heard Now he slowly getting back but still doesn’t make songs any more He just rhymes for the sake of rhyming putting doubles and triples that don’t serve the song but makes it almost like a puzzle People didn’t stan Eminem for that His best songs ever never had that much skill but they were great songs that people could actually singe along to
Dec 26, 2020 If he were to never drop another album he goes out spittin fire over trendy beats same way he came in. A huge collection of songs that has something for everyone. It was about the music, about the flow, about the bars. He already did all the personal s--- - this was about the music and everyone agrees the production was top notch. The ones complaining that it's not old school em live in the past and they are the minority. Same with the people complaining about his tonality thing. They just don't get it because they are out of touch living in the 80s still. Their opinions don't matter anymore.. I'm out
Dec 26, 2020 each album this week sold more copies than anticipated. who should thank whom now? it’s Christmas and it’s natural numbers that sales are slightly higher than expected.
Dec 26, 2020 Walk On Water was too depressing. But it was still Em & Beyoncé. It shouldn't have flopped so hard.
Dec 26, 2020 He has been releasing too depressing first singles since 2017. These are not hits. These tracks don't even have to be singles. Because of this, we don't see good numbers in the first week. He doesn't promote a big hit as the first single. This is the main mistake of the last three albums.
