You keep saying that he's rapping about the same things and side b was repetitive with the same themes. Relapse was cool but every song was about the same thing. Weird serial killer schtick with strange accent. Would've been cool for a few songs but he ran that idea into the ground on that album

Dec 27, 2020 I like Relapse for what it was but I don't want to hear 48 year old Em go back to that for a full album. Framed and Discombobulated are great because they are the only songs that sound like that on their respective albums. They wouldn't stand out as much if their albums had that same sound throughout
Dec 27, 2020 Still cant believe how good this album is. And I dont mean just side b. I mean the entire MTBMB album. Amazing production. Ems voice (I know some in this thread dont like it but I think the confidence in his voice is the best since the Em show) the flows and the bars are other worldly. No one can question that Em brought it this album. It's his 3rd best album and who knows...10 years from now it may be looked at as his #1 best. The only songs I sometimes skip is Gunz Blazing and In Too Deep. But only 2 somewhat skippable songs on a 40 song album is pretty good I'd say.
Dec 27, 2020 I love every track in Relapse from the first listening to the present day. Why doesn't he release Relapse 2 (2009) now? This album would be much better than any new album of his. I remember how I felt a sense of delight in May 2009, when I first listened to the Relapse album, and the same thing happened with track Discombobulated. I liked the entire Relapse album. I would love Relapse 2 as much as Relapse 1.
