Jan 1, 2021 Snake just wants it to be 2003 again I'm convinced of this. Every argument he makes doesn't stand up. I think his latest thing before this he was saying how em doesn't tell stories anymore or get personal but he does both in mtbmb. This album is a classic front to back. It's more complete then kamikazes, much better than revival with flow/bars and production (not over produced) and I'd say overall it has more moments then mmlp2 altho I loved that album. To me it's a close one when put up against recovery as well - but I think the flow and production edge it out ahead of recovery and it's more raw rap and collabs then that album was. Relapse has a cult following and there's se classic em highs but with less skips I give it an edge over that album too collectively as an overall album.
Jan 1, 2021 That all said the nostalgia factor can trick someone into I can see how some may not be able to handle the chorus but the rapping more than makes up for it to me - I don't find the chorus obnoxious it's just different and I like different. Same reason I like the raps songs that have horns and piano, but if your trying to front like your cool and do that whole clout thing then yeah these demons might make you insecure.
