    Mandalorian This is the Way!

    Jan 7, 2021

I remember well the days when Eminem was untouchable, bulletproof and the most respected person in the entire hip-hop industry.

It is enough for him to go back to his homies, 50 Cent, D12, Dr. Dre and record a hip-hop b-----r, and then the streets will respect Eminem again.

Instead of supporting young hot rap artists, he releases Kamikaze and the entire hip-hop community turns away from him. This is his fault. He was supposed to destroy critics after Revival, and instead, he lashed out on young rappers and destroyed himself. The title of the album Kamikaze fully justified itself, he destroyed himself in the eyes of hip-hop culture then.

The Re-Up/King Mathers era - it was a time when no one in hip-hop culture doubted that Eminem was the Top 1 rapper of all time. maybe not all Eminem fans liked this gangsta style, but the streets respected Eminem back then. I remember that time well. nobody talked s--- about Eminem back then. everyone respected him.

Not gonna lie, I would love it if Em got his old producers back on board and had G-Unit, Obie, D12 and Cashis as features. Remind people what they used to do and that he used to have a loyal team.

That "Gangster" phase was never Eminem tho. It was a phase.

He's never gonna go back to that.

But I would love to get a b-----r like You Don't Know for sure though.

But Em was so confident back then. And he had G-Unit and D12 that were still doing great. Obie also.

Gotta agree that Eminem is too vulnerable these days and responds to everybody. Makes you look weak when you let people know what bothers you.

I think it started when he started to use the internet. When he didn't know how a computer worked most of that s--- probably flew under his radar.

Now he spends too much time trying to please everyone and lashing out at everyone who critisizes him.

Eminem was confident and didn't write down an apology for anyone. Then everyone respected Eminem. It was a g.o.a.t. time.

Sure, but he was at the top of the game. Everything he did, went the right way. Everything he touched turned to gold. No one (except people no one respected at all, like Benzino) dared to question his place in Hip-Hop, or his contribution, let alone his skills. So he had genuine confidence.
How can you or anyone expect him to be like that and act like that when: A )He's 48 now. He's much more aware of his flaws. B ) People keep questioning his authenticity, relevancy, contribution to the culture, etc.

He said it himself on Walk On Water:
And I try to not listen to nonsense
But if you b------s are trying to strip me of my confidence
    Mission accomplished

And that was before the whole Revival flop (because that song came out WITH Revival). Imagine how he must feel now, when all of a sudden there's people coming out of nowhere talking s--- about him like every single week.

15 years ago, if you said something bad about Eminem or 50 Cents on the street, you could get beat up. All my most dangerous friends listened to either Eminem or 50 Cent in those days.

Also, let's not pretend to be blind here.
Ever since the Slim Shady LP came out, he's been degrading, insulting, ridiculing and trashing a lot of artists, celebrities, media outlets, etc. So right now he's reaping what he sowed. For better and worse. Some people still defend him because they appreciate his artistry and everything he has done and continues to do. And some people have been waiting for the day he looked weaker so they could attack him. Saying all the s--- he said for a whole entire decade, isn't for free. He made a lot of enemies along the way and now they think it's the perfect chance to retaliate.

When he complains about fans trashing his flow, wanting him to go back to his old style, wanting him to do this and that. Everytime he complains about that s--- on a song it makes him look bad.

There's too much of that on his albums recent albums. That and adressing everything people say about him like Charlamagne or other rappers.

He needs to go back to doing his own thing and not giving a f---.

Tbh Em has always been like that even in his prime. He would lash out at critics and stuff but back then the internet wasn't very popular and there wasn't social media like there is today. And he was in his prime. Now he's older, isn't putting out the same quality of stuff he did in 2002 and the internet has made things 10 times worse because people remind him of that.

Em needs to unplug his phone or computer and just do his on thing and stop worrying avout trying to please everyone.

He stopped making songs with his old friends, D12, 50 Cent, he barely even made songs with Dre in the last 10 years. People began to doubt Eminem ever since Royce became his best friend again.

Royce is literally nobody. He shouldn't be with him that much. His loyal team is D12, 50, Dre, not Royce. He had a beef with Royce and for me Royce is still on the same level as Benzino. My opinion of Royce hasn't changed all these years.

People will stop writing s--- about Eminem when he goes back to his old friends and makes good music again. Old fans from the 2000s are very angry with Eminem these days.

Him and Mays said the most idiotic things they could possibly say.
First of all with a quick search anyone can see that Em is donating every year and supports kids in detroit. Has donated over 180m and propably more by now. What has Mouse ever done for his people?
Plus charities arent made for people to see in the first place.
But I dont get their ''argument'' at all. Their problem is how much of a good person Em is?
Bringing up a bs a 16yo kid said over 30 years ago like none of them did something bad or stupid in their lives lmao

Eminem's problem is that he made the last 2 albums by literally reading posts on this forum.

He should rap about life, not the posts he read on this forum. Therefore, Side B was especially boring. I hardly see real life in his recent albums. He is constantly at war with people who write about him on the forums.

That's one of the problems, you have Em making Rap God, talking bout waking up still king, being the best,... And then he drops songs talking bout how he's done, like Guts Over Fear or Walk On Water.
