Feb 14, 2021 He has nothing to gain by going independent. He is like Lebron. He'll get whatever he wants in any label he is signed to. Plus, the help distrubuting his music etc. Who is gonna press the albums, vinyls etc. for him ? He has the label for those things. Em is not the type of artist that can do without releasing physicals etc. and just distrubuting music online. There are many people who expects physicals when he drops. Those things never easier to deal with when you don't have a big label behind you. Plus, at this point, like I said, Em is probably very free with his music. LAbel cannot put boundries for his content or anything like that. So when he censors a word he is the one giving the final decision on that. It's his choice. But sure you can believe whatever delusional thing you want lol.
Feb 14, 2021 Don't put words in my mouth: I didn't say he's worried about sales. But one thing is undeniable, sales and numbers show how interested your audience/fanbase/followers are. Even if he's not looking at numbers all day, the minute these go down considerably, he'll feel it.
