Aug 23, 2020 The album will catch the eye of the public if the songs will have more substance to them this time around. MTBMB is phenomenal but it is hard for it to make headlines with Relapse-like songs that are about puns and punchlines. Recovery was "serious" album about fighting addiction, MMLP2 was a grand return to topics from the past, Kamikaze was talked about af due to its drop names, even Revival had Trump theme and generally people would talk a lot how bad the album is (it's ironic but...) MTBMB doesn't have a catchy headline theme, and only one single anybody cares about, and that's even more impressive that it is doing so well.
Aug 23, 2020 I think MTBMB had a little bit of everything from substance to straight up rappity rap songs. I would not mind a more substance-filled, 45 min project tho, like Nas just did. I just want an idea/concept that manifests itself through a bunch of songs. Just 12 songs but all of those 12 some of his best ever.
