Mar 14, 2021 What happened to Mixtapes though?. Why doesn't Eminem even consider putting out mixtapes every now and then?. He records so much material that may never see the light. Plus, Mixtapes are the root of Hip-Hop. The streaming era sort of killed that practice. Em should bring it back.

Side b is literally side a with bonus tracks yet all everyone could talk about is how it's a stand alone album and flopped. Doesn't matter if it's a mixtape ep solo deluxe collaboration people will still not focus on the music itself and worry about other s---.

Mar 15, 2021 That kind of pressure would be there but not pressure from the label and pressure of selling alot etc. Look at Side B, that would have never been released as a seperate album. It’s not albummaterial really. It’s still good. Good for what it is, and sales count towards OG album so everything is just a bonus. Mixtape would kinda be the same, theres no pressure on sales and mixtapes doesnt always count as part of ones discography. Look up Ems discography for example; Side B is not a stand alone. There is only MTBMB. Then u have Shady XV, Southpaw, the reup etc. It gives him an opportunity to put out music without the pressure of an album. now, if i say ”pressure of an album ” one more time i’ll jump from a roof. time for coffee
