Apr 16, 2021 I remember Reddit and Em stans making me think that bme was the hardest thing ever made and a true gem. Then I went back to listen to it and besides a handful of songs it's pretty underwhelming considering how hyped up it is lmfao. Album should've been on the same level as the opening track but for the most part was b---- tracks poppy songs and generic spazzing. I feel like Em would do a much better job this time around if they did another one but at this point I don't care enough to hear royces input.
Apr 16, 2021 I really like it, but I love Recovery, so I didn't mind the pop feats. Royce washed Em on some tracks. Em was just using a lot of female hooks back then.
Apr 16, 2021 One comment someone said about Em is that it used to be a very big deal to get him as a feature on your album and Imo it still is, his verses are always last his track is always near the end of the album but he also said getting a feature on his album is no longer earth shattering which I do 100% agree with. I wish Em went all out with his features im cool with the Anderson and boogie features even white gold but the fact so many lesser known people just get hook features on his album is lame. Imagine he did get cudi on these demons how much better the song would be imagine he did have huge guest like jay 50 redman etc.
Apr 16, 2021 The first 3 songs are pretty good but the rest is just underwhelming as f---. Considering how good Em and Royce were at that time I;m baffled at how an album called "h--- The Sequel" has pop hooks.

Apr 16, 2021 I used to think Royce was Ems equal and really complimented him and matched him and could even out rap Em then I grew up and realized all that is true only because you can tell Em didn't care lol so yeah saying you prefer Royce over Em or he beat Em a few times might be true but only because Em didn't take it serious
Apr 16, 2021 I think Most times Em doesn't take his work seriously, which I wish he did. Royce just raps, he's good at it, but it also comes out pretty natural. Em overthinks every line and sometimes it comes out a bit weird.
Apr 16, 2021 One thing I'm glad Em stopped doing a lot is making songs were he's saying so much s--- but not really saying anything at all just 5 minutes or awkward rapping over s-----y beats rambling nonsense. I feel like hts to revival he did so much of that with right for me offended campaign speech a lot of hts etc. just seems so unmotivated and the true definition of not having s--- to talk about. I guess you can say the last time he did that was Alfreds theme but even then IMO that's a much better version of all those songs. Regardless of what marsh says while wearing his xxxxl shadyltd merch even though he's a small ems definitely improved content wise since revival.
Apr 16, 2021 Nah, I kinda agree. But he gave us some dope verses imo like some of the ones on Shady XV. But he still doesn't really rap about anything? He just added BLM and the pandemic. That's all I can think about now.

Apr 16, 2021 If Em would've replaced black magic alfreds theme and tone deaf with 3 tracks that matched the sound and style of the rest of the album it would be a perfect album imo. The absolute fear I had seeing Skylar in the opening hook and being taken back by another song about a female and then going straight into 2 funny spazzing songs one that's like 6 minutes long but sometimes feels like 8 with no hook was too much.
