He might have got pissed and left and you wouldn't have all of this great information and you'd have been wasting every single Thursday night this year. Also, I finally gave MTBMB a proper listen. Aug 30, 2020 It’s definitely a better album. I think Kamikaze’s shock value & return to form somewhat gave it the edge for more enjoyable listen... MTBMB feels like a step in the right direction, thematic attempt but not strong as it should be yet. Production is much better than what we’ve had the past 10 years. The rapping is still unhinged & not in an artistic directive way, more a tone-deaf way & that’s coming from a rap fan that enjoys experimental technical rap, a lot. It’s extremely overdone at this point for Em, it’s been the dictator of his sound & ultimately a detriment to it for too long. Content takes a backseat on rappity rap again which needs to be addressed from Em or the producers around him or MTBMB is the best album this version of Em can give us IMO.

Aug 30, 2020 I was with you until I saw Recovery 3rd. Also wtf @ MMLP2 worse than Revival? No. Just, no. Revival is one of the most horrible things I've ever heard. MMLP2 was a disappointment to its title, but f--- me sideways - like, lightyears better than Revival; Bad Guy, Rhyme or Reason, Survival, Legacy, Rap God, Brainlesss, So Far, Love Game... so much enjoyment. Revival is suicide.

Aug 30, 2020 Agree to disagree. Revival had Believe, Castle and even In Your Head. MMLP2 had absolutely nothing for me. Legacy, So Far .. and Survival are three of the worst songs ever recorded. And I know it's blasphemous to put Recovery above SSLP but where I'm at now in my life as a grown a--- man it's got much more replay value than SSLP. Rock Bottom is still God tier though.
Aug 30, 2020 are you kidding me? em is one of very few megastars that could show us into that lifestyle. im not asking for updates on his family and s---, i want to hear more about him and his actual daily life. surely he has more to rap about than kim and hailie, and that would be a surprise because we dont know s--- else about him through his music except he had a bad childhood and drug problem. theres more to it than that, and he can put out a more mature sounding album without rehashing subjects lol. and you still owe me $80
