Oct 30, 2020 I saw someone comment this and just need to reiterate, Paul really is an awful manager. Whether it be linking em with unique artists for collabs to keep his sound moving forward and transitioning, promoting albums, or connecting Em with the right people, for instance why did it take 10 years for a Cudi n Em collab? Paul is a---. Nice guy though.
Oct 30, 2020 Lmaoooo thats right, the manager of the biggest and most successful rapper since 1999, and literally of all time, is solely to blame for his present day decisions lol. Cmon to f---? And also, Em and Cudi linking in 09 for I Hear Them Calling but not finishing it will never be forgiven. At least Em absolutely delivered for their recent song.
Oct 30, 2020 Paul had nothing to do with that, Em was responsible for the Demo ever getting to dre, Em wrote the rhymes, dre made the beats and produced. Paul was mostly along for the ride. Hes a great friend and good dude, but if you really think hes a proactive and great manager I think youre being biased. Also I never said Paul is soley to blame for anything, but I think its pretty obvious that if Cudi had to @ eminem on twitter to beg for a collab... theres a disconnect there. Just my opinion though.
Oct 30, 2020 I swear if Em and Royce actually come for a new interview or what song listening party it is, I'll take it as a W. My bar for Ws has been lowered, I know...
Oct 30, 2020 He’s not Em’s carer fs lmao. If Em can’t know about Cudi directly tweeting him in 2020 then thats his problem.
Oct 30, 2020 I might have missed it, but did the "People think they want this problem til' they get it" tweet ever amount to anything?
Oct 30, 2020 This means that he will release his last album at the end of this year, after which he will leave the stage, as he did in 2005. This will be his last gift to the fans. This is the last merch of his life that he will send to fans:
Oct 30, 2020 Eminem said in 2002 that if he raps at 60, we'll just have to throw him off the stage. He then promised that he would not do rap in retirement, until the end of his life. I don't think he even imagined then at 30 years old that he would still rap at almost 50 years old. He really should leave, that would be the right decision. He could release a couple of songs a year with other artists. I don't think we can handle another bad album from him. He had to stop after 2010. He should have stopped releasing albums after 2010, then he said whatever he wanted.
Oct 30, 2020 Off topic. Anyone remember how sometime before MTBMB there was this 'Real Slim Shady' jazz thing uploaded to Em's channel? What happened to that? Was that a tease or some error?
Oct 30, 2020 I personally believe he has a couple more albums in him but I understand where you're coming from and I appreciate the detailed response man
Oct 30, 2020 He should quit after dropping a great album, I don't want his last to be Kamikaze or MTBMB. I want something bigger and better. But I do agree, he should quit soon. These OK albums hurt his discography. Don't forget the whole "he hasn't dropped a good album in 10 years" thing.
Oct 30, 2020 True. Even though the MMLP2 was kinda well received. I only like half of the album though. Last two projects weren't great either.
Oct 30, 2020 I dont understand how someone can hurt his discography. Its not like old albums get deleted once a new one is released. Terminator franchise is s---, but that doesn't hurt t1 and t2 and I frequently rewatch them.
Oct 30, 2020 Imagine 2pac and Biggie nowadays still rapping. They probably lose their iconic status, they die in their prime
Oct 30, 2020 No one is waiting for new Terminator films right now, but they are still filming and coming out. It's the same with Eminem's albums. Some things just need to be left alone and not touched anymore - this can be said about Eminem's discography. He had to stop releasing albums after 2010.
Oct 30, 2020 If Eminem died around Christmas 2007, he would be as iconic as Tupac and Biggie. But that time is gone.
