Dec 14, 2020 has anything eventful happened in the past 48 pages lmao, that's where I stopped reading and I dont have time to catchup aha
Dec 14, 2020 He was talking about the fake "bad guy" attitude and the cliches I think. He was high as f--- by the way.
Dec 14, 2020 He was saying that all these fake rappers with hoody and corny personas referring to Em's "We made you" comeback. But ofcourse he was subliminal a f, coz "The Warning" had dropped recently and imagine a relapse era eminem dissing a rapper like Nas
Dec 14, 2020 Yeah but the only rapper that comes to mind that has used hoodies since 2000s is Eminem. It's like one of his trademarks. So he was only referring to Em. Of course hoodies have been in the HipHop culture forever, but Eminem made it his signature.
Dec 14, 2020 It’s not that you “just have an opinion” bro. It’s that you felt the need to register for an entire account just to come here and talk down on people. In this forum we bond over speculation and stuff like this. There are a couple users here who have given accurate info in the past and have connections, and they want to share some of the info they genuinely believe in to get people excited. So we have every right to trust them. If nothing comes then we just move on with our lives. Create an account to socialize and discuss, not to provoke.
Dec 14, 2020 It would have been much better without the autotune in the chorus and without some of the corny lines. Specially about Em's age. That was just a bad move from MGK. He could have hit much much harder if he talked about how irrelevant he is (which I don't think he is, but that was 'the thing' back then).
Dec 14, 2020 @joeyp363 heard it’s getting pushed back. We’ll see what other people say. I hope it doesn’t get pushed back
Dec 14, 2020 What? Em put Canibus and Everlast both to sleep. "Quitter" might be the best Diss song I've ever heard. Everlast himself regrets it today. Last year he was interviewed and talked about that beef.
Dec 14, 2020 "People who still listen to eminem need to get off that mountain dew and come home from army" >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Dec 14, 2020 I'm always happy to hear new music from Eminem and if these songs came from the original MTBMB sessions then great he obviously thought enough of them to want them to be heard. I wasn't a fan of the entire original album, I still have my favourites and go to songs but an issue I do have is there seems to be a lot of guest features and I'm not a fan of other people doing the hooks. With songs like Marsh, Stepdad, I Will, Farewell I thought having him do the hooks himself really made a world of difference. Just those songs I guess gives you an idea of what Eminem I like, I do like You Gon' Learn and Premonition too. I'm not a big fan of the rappity rap style and I'm a little worried that that the original MTBMB album got so much praise from the hip hop community that he's basically compiled outtakes that are rappity rap and have all these features where it will be them doing the same thing. I hope that's not the case but we do know he tries to please the fans, I just worry he's again trying to please this part of the fanbase that just can never be pleased. There's people that still listen to Dre's 2001 album. They still listen to the Marshall Mathers LP. I'd much rather he did something just to have fun with and nothing else. This is why for so many people Relapse was the last proper Eminem album. It's just like ever since everything is trying to please people and I'm just gonna say it.......rappity rap songs and songs and songs featuring rappers.......they don't sell albums. They don't sell tickets to your live shows. That's now what made you famous. That's not who your audience is. Those people are a tiny percentage of the fanbase. He should look at the setlists he uses for his concerrts. Look at the 30 odd songs he performs live in his concerts. That's what sells tickets. That's what made you a household name. And maybe I'm wrong and this is truly what he wants to do and this is truly the kind of music he wants to make. If that's the case that's fine too, that doesn't take away from his other albums. I loved Shady XV too. I loved the title track, Psychopath Killer, Vegas, Right For Me, Fine Line. All that material will always be there but it's just not the same and it's not felt the same for a long long time. It might never feel the same way, at least for me and many other fans.
