Dec 14, 2020 I've actually been listening to Eminem since I was a little wee baby jit because my mom loved SSLP and MMLP. I started being a big fan when I was like 7 or 8 and Relapse came out though. 3am used to scare the s--- out of me I was legitimately scared Eminem was gonna come murder me lmao. I hold Relapse at a pretty high regard just because that's when I first got into Eminem.
Dec 14, 2020 L man you've all been trolled and when em drops something next Feb you'll say it was delayed f--- off man stop playing with these people.
Dec 14, 2020 I'm 19. First time I heard Em was in 2010 when Not Afraid was everywhere. Funnily enough, Recovery is one of my favorite albums from him, I love the anger and the shouting. Seems that's a hot take now. I love MMLP a bit more. First time I fanboyed Em tho was 2017, before Revival. I was so excited for it, I kept watching the Tim Westwood freestyle with Royce and Mr Porter, I got so so excited.. and was so so disappointed when it came out. Then Kamikaze came out and I was so f---ing happy. My Em album order MMLP Recovery/Kamikaze MTBMB TES (I still love this album and its some of his best work but I personally find myself listening to the above ones more) Relapse SSLP Encore MMLP2 Revival
Dec 14, 2020 That's just crazy to me that someone would rank Kamikaze or some of his later work above what he did in his prime but on the other hand I understand. What you grew up with always has a special place. I wonder which songs on those albums attracted a new crowd of fans.
Dec 14, 2020 Can we get this dude thread banned we get it, you think we are about to take a phat L but you are just spamming at this point bro. Either take part in actual discussion or stfu honestly.
Dec 14, 2020 i love kami as its the first i heard but sslp is high up there... i think the first song i loved off of kami was either stepping stones or the ringer.... and sslp was brain damage or guilty conscience
Dec 14, 2020 youre an old soul, i like u man lol. 90s rock def a fun era for sure. would be interested in ur thoughts on late 90s rock festival em lol u on the east coast? 100% kinda like how the star war prequels were considered garbage until a generation of fans who were up w them were like, nah ROTS is f---in lit lol. em is that kind of artist, 20+ years of relevance is a long long time in music. like when em dropped in the 90s its kind f---ing with middle age rockers from the 1970s kinda just interesting...
