Dec 14, 2020 Even if you just got into Em in the last 10 years or so (lookin at you younger fans), I just can't fathom how you don't see the dramatic shift in quality from his first 3 albums (especially MMLP and TES) to everything else that followed. I know SSLP is more of an acquired taste. But Eminem's ability as a rapper, songwriter and to a lesser extent producer was unbelievable from 1999-2003. You could argue his pen is more polished now, but as a whole package man? There's no comparison. Those who think otherwise I suggest you really dig into all his work from the older days. I say this as someone who enjoys a lot of his work after his golden era.

Dec 14, 2020 somewhat related with the relevancy stuff but my dad (late 40s now) was a fan of Em during SSLP, MMLP and TES eras he introduced my brother (late 20s now) who has been a fan since the start and still is now and me (15) whos become a fan from his newer stuff but learnt to appreciate the older albums basically 3 generations there lmao
