Oct 5, 2020 Dont know how anyone could even question it at this point. At the very least it's his most consistent album in a long time.
Oct 5, 2020 Yes, cause he was in the studio, but even having that info it isn't really the news lol, cause it was safe to assume so even without it.
Oct 5, 2020 I just hope it wont be overly political but I'm kinda anxious to see how he takes it. He pretty much has admitted that nobody likes the woke him and has acknowledged it on songs. However with the riots and the obvious hate for Trump he has you have to think woke Em will be back to an extent. I just hope it doesn't ruin the album. Felt like he mentioned Trump on like every Revival song lol. Fine, get his Trump hate out on one song but then leave the rest of the album as a mostly Em rap album.
Oct 5, 2020 Off topic here, but speaking of woke stuff, a lot of artists have really come up with some really well crafted songs to speak on the matter. Most unexpected being Lil Baby. Like, d---!
Oct 5, 2020 Btw, Em always is on about Kendrick and Cole. He's even talked about DaBaby if I remember correctly. But wtf, where are the collabs??? They better be on that new album.
Oct 5, 2020 The last part of his I Will verse when he starts talking about the dead and missing women and says “this ain’t no storybook ending this is only the beginning” gives me a hint his next album could be more relapse vibe.
Oct 5, 2020 I take the line as an indication that he would be dropping in quick succession at the very least.
Oct 5, 2020 Darkness was a brilliant approach to a political/socioeconomic topic without directly addressing politics itself. It’s possibly the most underrated track he’s ever made.
Oct 5, 2020 I think we got too accustomed at shi--ing on his bad albums that we are taking for granted just how good mtbmb is. Everytime i go back to it i cant find faults outside of that trash ed song. It’s ridiculous
Oct 5, 2020 Not rly. Any album that contains 60% great material is classic for me at this age. No time to grasp at baddie here and there im too old. This thing has 85% great material
Oct 6, 2020 How would you rate the songs in a great, good, avarage and bad column? I could think of at least 10 of the top that i consider great: premo, you gon learn, godzilla, darkness, leavin heaven, yah yah, marsh, lock it up, no regrets and i will Darkness and his contribution on I will would i have in a utterly-amazing-stuffs column Doesnt happen often with album nowadays
Oct 6, 2020 Bad ed song Avg in too deep and farewell Masterpiece i will darkness prem yah yah marsh no regrets Great other songs
Oct 6, 2020 Our personal opinions aside, is there any chance, I mean ANY CHANCE, that Em delivers a critically acclaimed album? Like avant garde stuff? What do y'all think?
