    lol

    To quote OP
    Kanye is musically brilliant

Eminem would dominate Kanye bar for bar but he hasn't changed the culture or made the music kanye has.

That is just your OPINION key word OPINION

Eminem in my opinion and opinion of the 300 million people that purchase his music is musically brilliant

I don't enjoy Kanye's music hence why I don't own any of his albums. Eminem in my view has made much superior music than Kanye

How has Eminem not changed the culture or influenced? How many rappers were singing choruses prior to The Eminem Show album?

he has no classic solo diss records, he's been trash longer than his actually been good. His fans are in their mid 20s and still virgins. His music making ability has been worse than any other pop star since 2010. Nobody would care if he was black or his subject matter didn't cater to emotionally unstable preteens and virgins.

I actually think majority of his fans are younger than 25.
Most people over 25 have moved on most of Eminem's work is very immature.
Even his good albums have not aged very well.

I swear to God no word of a lie I live in the most cosmopolitan city in the world London some say it is the centre of the world if not London than New York. in terms of finance, entertainment, culture, diversity, history

I know Caucasians, Arabs, Indians, Latinos, Black Caribbean's, Black Africans, Chinese and Eminem's music is by far more popular than Kanye's. I hear people I don't know wether it be on a train or a bus or in their cars bumping Eminem's music I've never seen this for Kanye

I'm not saying this just to say it. Those tweets I post of those females constantly praising Eminem's music and how much they love his music and look up to him even though it annoys a lot of posters here. Those are people that represent your everyday regular person

Eminem has changed the culture and influenced many rappers but as I said not as Kanye has, also no 300 million people do not believe Eminem is more musically gifted than Kanye

Then why has Eminem sold 300 million records worldwide while Kanye hasn't even sold 10% of that?

    You're an idiot

you can do that with anyone

There's a shitload that goes into selling music that's not directly related to the music child, You have to take in account the years he sold music, the before streaming era, his skin color etc. Its not as simple as ''he has more sales = he's better''

Being white is the main reason. Record sales were also at there peak in Eminem's prime.
Record sales are not everything either. Illmatic barely sold a million copies & it is a renowned classic. Record sales doesn't mean you change the culture.

What makes Kanye musically gifted? the world knows why Eminem is musically gifted and a musical genius

Eminem sings without using auto tune while when Kanye sings he uses auto tune

The production Eminem has done majority of the production has been original production from scratch with no sampling. Majority of the production Kanye has done have used samples

Eminem has sung or performed majority of the choruses on his songs himself. Kanye West has much more songs than Eminem where Kanye features an RnB singer to do the chorus on his song

Eminem has covered a more diverse range of topics and subject matter in his music such as poverty, parenting, politics, depression, divorce, love, fame, over coming drug addiction, family issues. Even though in Kanye's defence here he can't cover topics like poverty and living in a broken home because he grew up upper middle class in the suburbs in a good home

    Disorderly Progress What's cookin?

I'd say both, sometimes in equal measure.

I feel like a lot of real rap fans and people within the hip-hop media almost intentionally sometimes underrate him or fail to mention him - due to the cringing over-rating and teenie bopper type fame / reactions of some Eminem fans, or just the idea in general of him being some overrated white hype of a rapper.

I've seen, for example, Paul Rosenberg do that kind of thing. Or white rappers. Where they wont mention him, or they'll act like Em doesn't exist or isn't that great, but then if a black person or rapper brings him up, almost like a pass, they start stanning out. Which is lame, tbh, just call s--- as you see it regardless.

So, I think it depends what sect you're looking at. Because I think rap definitely underappreciates and under-rates Em as a whole, though the entire hip-hop community - from rappers to rap critics etc. all seem to (even if it's underhanded or a subtle comment) acknowledge Em's greatness, you always here the odd comment like 'well Em is just ridiculous.' or an ackowledgement.

But then if you look at like mainstream critics, I'd say he's underrated there. Often for stupid reasons. Like pop publications who rate his albums or material absurdly low because of homophobic 'slurs' and not being able to understand basic irony and character play after like 20 years of explaining it, because they're total r-----s. Then rating Kanye as a groundbreaking genius for a beat switch.

But overall - there's more rappers, lyricists, who are unfairly ignored and sh---ed on or just forgotten, who are amazing. So even if Em is underrated in some sects - I mean - who the f--- can win it all? You can't have pure perfect perception in the world. He gets plenty of credit.

You're a f---ing r-----, Kanye gets rnb singers on his hook for that reason, Eminem can't sing. Way to ruin a good hook. and a lot of songs sound better sampled than produced from scratch. Why are you acting like it's an accomplishment

    I tried ignoring this but i can't,
You are a f---ing idiot all of the points you gave about kanye. Kanye has produced for multiple artist like Jay Z & Lil Wanye.

This is why everybody hates this section because stupid a--- r-----s like you are dickriders and it scares off people who want to get into the forum

So then why did TylerWaves try to claim Kanye is musically gifted?

Production wise it is much easier to sample than create a track from scratch with no sample

It's your opinion Eminem can't sing but obviously majority disagree with your opinion hence why he has sold the records he has

I forgot to add the person who tweeted this is the type of person I meant when I said your average person

Hence why I said majority of Eminem fans and people in the world think he is the most musically gifted in his genre @TylerWaves

Forget most his fans thinking he lyrically overrated majority of his fans hate his most lyrical material that they just ignore albums like h--- The Sequel and Infinite. It's not that most his fans like her think just think he lyrically overrated by those minority who do think he a good lyricist. They just completely ignore his most lyrical projects like Infinite and h--- The Sequel

Where as albums like The Eminem Show and Recovery have sold 20 million

Records like the one she thinks is the greatest song of all time Mockingbird was a top 10 hit
