    Maybe that's why they he was put on skylars album? They thought it would be nice to actually release something for the fans since they know he won't release something for a long time?

    Thanks for the update @M Solo. They've been super quiet which makes me think he's definitely working. A suprise Apple release is still possible, but who knows where he's even at in the recording process for the album. Could be 90% done or he could have just scrapped it and started from scratch.

    Regardless, they need to drop the dated 4 month marketing campaign. Just drop the lead single and do an Apple exclusive 3 weeks later. He doesn't need much more than that.

    I choose to believe they're all just working on the plan for properly promoting Eminem's new album. Relapse had "I'm sober now", Recovery had "I'm sober now and I won't talk about serial killing", MMLP2 had "I'm back to..something, look at my blonde hair", but this time around they're struggling. Eminem can still pull off great songs. The entire bonus disk of MMLP2 was great, but those are songs that conceptually don't fit anywhere. I guess he's struggling with a concept.

    Or maybe November is still on and we're in for a surprise. Pull a Beyonce.

    It's not like Beyonce is the only person able to pull of huge sales out of the blue. Everyone who's worldwide famous can pull it off. This isn't early 00s anymore, word spreads out in an instant.

    The promotion was focused on him being sober. A whole lot of interviews talking about his addiction.

    Relapse was more "Slim Shady is back after a hiatus."

    Recovery focused more on the sobriety and being back in full form.

    EDIT: well I guess you're right about the interview stuff with relapse so nvm
