the album will probably be released on streaming platforms before being sold in stores, that is now the last resort when it comes to buying music in this age. i can still see this being released digitally.

Well, it's true. If he brings some heat, he might get hot again, but he definitely isn't as big as he was back in those days. He was most streamed all time, by 2014, man. Now he's not even close. He had year end highest selling album in 2010, (and 2002). He's still the biggest rap artist out there (f--- Drake, he's not a rapper anymore), but he's not as big as he was. He's still the biggest rapper out there, though.

I don't really care about the release date, I was just hoping to hear em is back with dre and that was a huge let down. Knowing rubin most likely had his hand all over this I don't think i'm going to like it.

Rubin usually likes to have bands produce something he would like to hear, which is all fine and dandy, but MMLP2 was just wack. Some songs were sick, the headlights song for his mom came as a shocker to me though, that was dope. I didn't expect for him to apoligize to his mom and s---. I just think we're all getting hyped over something that's going to let us down again. I do like the name and look of revival, and I didn't even mind walk on water, I enjoyed it for what it was, and if it's setting up for some explosive a--- beats and eminem killing everything then i'm cool with that. I think personally the best way to start off the album is walk on water, and him just letting loose all over the album.

But now a days it seems like em is more into the radio friendly pop s--- which is getting old to me. I enjoyed rap god, but every song after MMLP2 was just garb

Well, MMLP2 did more than Recovery in the first week (792k to 741k) and a bit less than Encore (792k to 800k) and overall it sold a lot less than both those albums but it was bigger at the start. Definitely cause of the name. People wanted MMLP2. Instead they got something called MMLP2. So it dropped quickly, but the hype was big.
