    Exactly. People hold him to higher standards because the earlier work was classic. He gets sh---ed on a lot more than most artists out of his generation. Granted, Jay-Z just released a dope album - but people didn't give him near as much s--- when released subpar albums like "The Blueprint 3" and "MCHG".

    I'm in the crowd that doesn't mind some of those rock-sampled joints like "Remind Me" and "Heat". Are they great songs? No, but I don't mind them as they are just Eminem's version of just fun, rock/club bangers. I would put them as a modern version of "Shake That". He has already said "classic rock, acid rap is the genre". I like hearing him sample some old songs like that from time to time. Which brings me to "In My Head" - I forgot to mention that one, but I was glad the sample was used and thought it was a pretty good song for the most part. Surprised it wasn't 3 verses instead of 2.

    I actually didn’t even mean to include Remind Me because I can at least understand why that was in the album, and the thinking behind it...I’m mainly talking about the clear Recovery/h--- The Squel seasions leftovers where he is yelling about nonsense...

    As always with new Eminem, flashes of brilliance i.e. final verse of Believe and the second half of Untouchable

    That's what makes his garbage so hard to swallow, you know there is the smallest chance of a real f---in b-----r coming through at some point
