Nov 29, 2018 Cautiously optimistic for something tonight/tomorrow, but not expecting anything As I’ve said many time before: Kamikaze really felt like an appetiser for what’s to come, hence the shorter run-time. Lyrics like: “What a way for 2018 to get underway, I'm gonna say everything that I wanna say” “I don't think this typhoon's lettin' up any time soon” makes it seem like he’s just getting started... Kamikaze like half of what we normally get for an Em album. We know he’s in the studio still & illa has been sending him beats, so maybe he’s planning something bigger than just a soundtrack, who knows. Maybe that’s why Boogie’s album keeps getting delayed Em needs to keep up this momentum and he knows that...but after getting 2 albums in under a year plus features and a f---ing diss track we have absolute no reason to complain lol
Nov 29, 2018 Kamikaze sounded like a quick counterpunch and not like appetizer for me. Don't think we will get something on Friday, but I hope we'll get Soundtrack sooner or later with some new Em jam on it
Nov 29, 2018 We won’t be waiting a long time before a new Em album. There’ll be one in 2019 if no soundtrack comes about. Gone are the days of long rollouts and wait times. Hope there is a soundtrack with a few Em songs soon but if not, not long to wait I bet you.
Nov 29, 2018 Honestly now, I don't even expect Bodied anymore. There's no reason for Em to just drop a link for Bodied OST. It's not a solo album, it ain't gonna sell well. Kamikaze was different, he wanted the reaction and he dropped one crazy album that's why it was so successful in the 1st week. Bodied won't be like that so imo they prolly scrapped the project for good. Hopefully Em's working on something big for 2019 tho.
