I want a proper Bad Meets Evil project to happen. That half-baked EP should not be their only release.

Glass House sounds amazing. A complete u-turn from that awful WTOH. Shame it's collecting dust.

You do realize Em has put on both 50 Cent and Griselda (don’t give me that, “they were about to blow s---”).

they’re both phenom acts now lol, Griselda is everywhere with Benny front covering Rolling Stone Mag and really representing on the charts. They’re a staple now in the NY renaissance.

s--- on Shady all you want, but the A&R work is d--- good.

even Westside Boogie, he’s doing his thing too. Shady 3.0 is a success.

50 was nearly 20 years ago now lol.
Also he had huge buzz before he signed.

why did Griselda leave if Shady was doing such a great job?

Never said they did a good job, but y’all found out about then through Shady. Them dudes would’ve stayed undiscovered for a long while if it wasn’t for them signing to Em.

and yes 50 was 20 years ago, but he’s completely a global star today still.

50 would’ve blew without Em, he was too talented mixed with extreme hunger… was just a matter of time.

    Griselda not so much tbh

Interscope promoted him in a way no one else could have. He also had a lot of freedom, he wasn't trapped until he started messing up their bags with his own headphones and s---.

A lot of his fans were Em fans who liked 50 too.

I’ll grant you 50, even though he was a sure thing. Aligning with Em and Dre def made him even bigger. Griselda tho? I don’t think Shady has had any real impact on their career either way. They had their hardcore cult fanbase before Shady and they still have it now.

imo Griselda was gonna do fine with their niche fanbase without shady records, but I do think signing to Shady helped them reach a wider audience. This is anecdotal of course but I never saw any em posters here talk about Griselda until they signed with Shady and even just giving them exposure to em's fanbase is huge.

Part of the reason Shady has s----d for so long is because Em just signed bad artists lol—slaughterhouse, bobby creekwater, stat quo, yelawolf, cashis. Griselda was his first good pickup since 50 Cent lol. But the majority of rappers who left Shady did so because it was a s-----y label so :kanye3:

This is the truth but people still pretend Yelawolf is a great rapper so. I also think Boogie would be doing just as good if not better had he not signed directly to shady too

Cashis dropped a dope EP imo. And Slaughterhouse had buzz before Shady, people liked the music they were making before signing

It was a letdown for me, but Mud Mouth is his best (not Shady album tho)
