Aug 28, 2025 I watched the documentary. Would’ve much preferred a version of Stans without the featured Stans — just Em, Carson, Dre, and Jimmy. But still, cool that they took the time to put this together. Enjoyed it for what it was.
Aug 28, 2025 Eh, not really. Shady records is Eminem’s signed artist and his projects like soundtracks and various other collabs. Aftermath is who Eminem released his studio albums as subsidiaries under Interscope & UMG. studio albums and Greatest hits like curtain calls are under aftermath and Shady records jointly technically. But Eminem stuff like Stan’s soundtrack, D12, ect. Are only under Shady records. I know it sounds confusing but basically everything but D12, soundtracks and Eminem’s artists are under aftermath. The later are under shady records
Aug 29, 2025 Great to finally have the Kiss skit song after all these years. Prime era Em, and a legendary lost track. Can't help wondering what the implications are about the Proof/D12 rumours beforehand. If the rights to Proof's music have been cleared up, and songs were pulled from this, maybe there is now a grander plan in mind for that material. I could see Em getting involved in that.

Aug 29, 2025 After a few listens, anyone not grateful for the official release of Everybody’s Looking At Me needs to take a step back and do some serious reassessment. The Foolish Pride flip at the end of the second verse is enough in and of itself… While a throwaway from the perspective of the awesome heights of The Eminem Show, this record is fantastic. I love JID, but I’d take this record over that JID feature any day of the week and twice on Sundays. This is a gift.

Aug 29, 2025 so im watching this finally and actually locking in and it plays this old comedy thing about the word f--- that I used to listen to waaay f---in back in the day, I even cut it all up and edited it and made .wav files and used them as the computer notification noises... kind of weird to me

I never knew that. look at me stanning hard-core thinking he thought that skit was hilarious also... ive made him even chuckle from afar at a concert by screaming f--- icp to him during silence when he was talking s--- about Moby at the anger management tour in tampa... I know this because he slightly chuckled, and said yeah, f--- icp too. ive said this story on here before im sure... i should of been in this documentary, I even bleached my hair way back... the fack video should have been in it at the very least... I fell asleep about half way through, going to move forward now... be interesting to have another doc to go more in depth about the leaks back then and now, if just his. whenever they get that cracking I need a f---in call. I even initially hated him, couldn't stand my name is. then I heard guilty conscience and it was a wrap from there.

I’m a huge Eminem fan, but the consistent theme of these people making, like, pilgrimages to where dude lived, worked, etc., I’ve always found to be totally bizarre and have never been able to wrap my head around. I think Eminem even said as much in the doc.
