Now sure there was an older or different Shady Films but if it's been the same thing since the early 2000s why does their website say "we are proud to announce shady films!" in 2013? They obviously made some new deals or partnerships. As for why their twitter says "established in 2008" they probably established it in 2008 but it went public in 2013. There was no "shady films" as we know it in 2008, you won't find anything on the internet about it back then. Using Wayback Machine web archive, you can see that the official Shady Films twitter account was created 11:06AM, 25th September 2013, which was one minute before the official announcement on the Shady Records website, proving that the twitter & announcement were all coordinated at the same time by the same people, and it would've been impossible for a fan to make it one minute before it was even announced to the public. ty botizyt from reddit for the image too lazy to make my own
