Jul 12, 2024 MTBMB Side A was the most played album since the comeback for me. It's the one that I listen to 4 years later regularly. Can't say that about any of them post 2004. The sound he had on Side A was so fresh .... so different. This feels like Side A again with better beats, taking the skits/theme further so it's more cohesive. I only listened twice so I can't say this will have more replay value than Side A. The nostalgia is there , the last 4 songs are good -- just not great. If getting a shittier Arose and Castle are the biggest flaws? Then I think we all won. No yelling, start stop, horrible cringe punchlines, horrible beats/mixing (debatable), not a ton of rappity rap, NO LOVE SONGS (about generic lovers all stemming from his one real relationship that he last had in 2006) 1. MMLP 2. TES 3. SSLP 4. MTBMB Side A 5. Kamikaze 6. MTBMB Side B 7. MMLP 2 8. Recovery 9. Relapse 10. Encore 11. Revival This may land at 4 or 5 for me
