Jul 14, 2024 It practically draws inspiration from every album. Slim Shady looks upto big three for inspiration, sometimes Relapse and MMLP2 as well, in terms of production and actual rapping. More softer/braggadocio cuts are inspired by Recovery, Revival, Kami and MTBMB. It would be unfair to say its just inspired by Big 3 imo. The origin of Slim is in big three no doubt, which is the highest point of his career, but this album is a walkthrough through Eminem's life and rap career. Its laying down foundation for a whole new era which could potentially rectify all wrongs he did from 2004-20.

Everything from music, to cover art, to shirt designs is so f---ing incredible. The momentum and rapping is so hot, that my greedy a--- wants a deluxe/side B right now lmao.
Jul 14, 2024 we definitely have to wait and see if it stands the test of time. I think a lot of us who loved it won't in the future and a lot of people who didn't will love it. but other than that, this album exists because of SSLP and MMLP, and both did what this is trying to do a lot better. TES is just a better album. I put Relapse above it too and I'm still not sure if it's better than Recovery. but like I said, it's really great, and the fact many of us agree this was his best work in over a decade means it's special. I never thought Kamikaze was this good when it came out. with MTBMB I thought we had something to challenge the best songs of MMLP2. not every album needs to be compared but it's hard not to since we're ranking them lol

Jul 14, 2024 Finally ready to rate the album. Since putting 2 and 2 together and realizing this is a disguised political album calling for violence I rate it a 1/10. It only gets a 1 because of the beats/flows which average out to 9/10.
