Jul 15, 2024 Revival is a double edged sword we wouldn’t have gotten this output without the hate it received, but people still s--- on everything he does now as a direct result of Revival had this album dropped instead of Revival, or even MMLP2, I think it would be received a lot better. But we’ll never know.

Jul 15, 2024 Yeah those two are the only ones I debate but I actually love temporary. Ya ya it’s another Hailie song. But I think it was beautiful and necessary at this stage in his career, and I think it works as a double. It’s obviously for Hailie. But for people who grew up listening to Eminem, it can hit hard. we grew with him, with Hailie, time just keeps going. It’s sad, it’s meaningful. It’s a great song for me.
Jul 15, 2024 At this point I think he should stop being so sensitive and just drop whatever he wants either for hardcore fans or whatever but he'll never win those people back imo, their minds are already made up, they're not waiting for his comeback, they hope he never makes one, especially younger people, all I saw on comments and s--- was s--- like "Bros just yapping", "Kanye better" on not even the worst songs of this project, that s--- was said on "Fuel" and "Guilty Conscience 2" so if s--- like that doesn't win them over nothing short of MMLP or TES will and he's not gonna drop those at this point
Jul 15, 2024 Thoughts on this theory? In "Renaissance Eminem" from 2002, Eminem revisits the period when his drug addiction began, with the flow reflecting this era. Then, in "Guilty Conscience 2," his good and bad sides confront each other. After an attempted murder-suicide, he wakes up to the song "When I'm Gone" playing in the background. This song, released at the end of 2005, marks his farewell to Slim Shady but also coincides with his first admission into rehab (this is also referenced in a promo video with the hospital where he went to rehab). But this time the bad side wins, symbolized by Shady's laughter at the end of "Guilty Conscience 2,". This time Eminem does not achieve sobriety. This ties into the Houdini promo where he says, "For my last trick, I'm gonna make my career disappear," indicating the career in which he was clean. Everything following "Guilty Conscience 2" leads to the final song, where Eminem ultimately dies from the overdose in 2007. This outcome is symbolically depicted in the Tobey music video, where Shady (representing the drugs) kills him.

Jul 15, 2024 I agree but I also think there's another layer to that, now all that matters is clicks and views and s--- and overly praising or mindlessly hating Em will get you a ton of attention and that's all that matters nowadays, just write an article or make a video saying Em is s--- making it not too obvious that it's bait and people are gonna flood your comments which is all that they care about anyway
